When looking on open surfaces the biofilm detection kit gives instant visual identification of whether a surface is clean or contaminated. If it is contaminated then it goes further to identify if that contamination is organic residue, mineral film, or an actual biofilm and allows us to react appropriately to the contamination.

In a CIP we have several options to look for, detect, and destroy a biofilm. If we find a biofilm, then we’ll eliminate it and adjust the CIP program to prevent it from reforming.
